Responsibilities

• Model and optimize 3D assets in Blender

• Assist in tweaking vendor-delivered assets, including models, rigs, and textures.

• Build custom setups of shaders and geometry nodes to match project's art direction and style

• Assist with compositing tasks in Blender or After Effects, helping achieve the final look

• Animate 3D characters and assets as needed for supporting shots

• Keep files organized and ready for production

• Collaborate with artists, producers, and directors to meet creative and technical needs of the project

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Blender, including rigging, UV unwrapping, procedural materials, and geometry nodes.

• Experience with the rigging plugins for Blender.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make corrections and revisions in-house.

• A passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to learning and bringing new ideas to the team.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D modeling, rigging, animation, and texturing using Blender.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of 3D work in Blender.

• Deadline and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp.

• Must work at our studio in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and be legal to work in the US.
