Head of PRODUCtion
Full-time position
Coronation is looking for an experienced Head of Production to lead our Production team in creating content that Crowns the Good. Coronation’s Head of Production will manage all of our project pipelines and internal scheduling strategically. This involves working closely with leadership and management to develop and implement production strategies, managing budgets and resources, and overseeing all active and prospective projects as they relate to bandwidth and company growth.
The Head of Production will be responsible for scoping and coordinating for smaller scale projects on an ongoing basis, and will also be responsible for larger scale projects such as feature films and documentary series for both branded and independent projects. This may involve hiring external producer talent and overseeing those relationships in addition to Coronation’s in-house roster.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope Setting & Resource Management
Support pitches, prospects, and new projects with actionable budgets, timelines, and feasibility in advance of full engagements.
Engage in active conversation with producers and creative leadership to facilitate projects from a top-level across all company activities.
Spin up project budgets, assign initial funding and timelines, work directly with producers to support them with realistic goals and strategic problem solving.
Account Management
Act as primary client point of contact for projects, and actively seek ways to serve them better with continued support from our team. Internalize the needs of clients and communicate them back to the team leads.
Follow up on projects along the way to address any concerns, and get in front of any challenges from production or client requests.
Field followup conversations with existing clients to service followup projects.
Team Support
Work to support the leadership team: provide guidance, support, and direction where needed. At times, provide direct, hands-on support to the production team to manage timelines, budgets, and resources on a tactical level.
Coordinate Coronation’s leadership team and monitor alignment of resources across departments.
Advise sales on bandwidth and capacity, actively work to identify production pipeline concerns and solve them before they become problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree, and minimum of 7 years of experience in project management.
Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing and producing animation and live action content.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Diplomatically-minded, able to facilitate conversations and get to the root of concerns before they become problems.
Able to manage team members’ tasks and time.
Able to communicate and negotiate with clients and external contractors.
Proficiency in ClickUp.com or similar project management software.
Proficiency in Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet-based software.
Creative problem solver with the ability to multitask.
Familiarity with Apple/Mac computers.
Understanding of Coronation's core markets.
Must work at our studio in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and be legal to work in the US.
