The Purposeful Universe is a series exploring the presence of order, the roots of purpose, and the evidence for transcendence in the universe from the Big Bang up through the development of human consciousness.

Topics include cosmology, biology, consciousness, free will, and ultimately—human purpose. Presenters are top-level researchers at the forefront of their fields: astronomy, astrophysics, and evolutionary biology.

Full length episodes of The Purposeful Universe have collectively won a dozen awards in the categories of education and science, and have attracted attention from both science and faith communities.

The Purposeful Universe also drew the attention of The BioLogos Foundation, which was founded by Francis Collins—former director of the NIH and head of the Human Genome Project. BioLogos is using the pilot of The Purposeful Universe in their “Integrate” curriculum, with plans to continue use of the remainder of the series in support of their educational resources.
